Purchase your tickets on line if you are visiting Georges or Spectacle Island and leaving from Boston. Hit the "Harbor Islands Express Tickets" button on the right. Choose your island destination, date you will visit, and quantity of tickets. Don't forget to book your return! Print out your tickets and board the boat.
You may also call Boston’s Best Cruises (see More below) or buy your ticket at the company’s ticket booths at Long Wharf–North in Boston and Fore River Shipyard in Quincy for trips to Georges or Spectacle Island.
If leaving from Hingham or Hull, purchase your ticket on-board the ferry.
Likewise, purchase tickets on the boat en route to Thompson Island from South Boston (EDIC). Cash only.
You may transfer from the Boston Route to the Hingham Route (to visit Lovells, Peddocks, Grape, and Bumpkin Islands) at Georges Island for a small fee. Pay the fare as you board at Georges.
Tickets are issued and fares collected by Boston’s Best Cruises for the Boston, Quincy, and Hingham Routes. Thompson Island Outward Bound Education Center collects fares for the South Boston (EDIC) Route.
We offer two-island or multi-island round-trip fares from Boston and Quincy. We offer a round-trip, six-island fare from Hingham and Hull. We offer a two island round-trip fare from South Boston (EDIC). The round-trip park ferry costs $14 for adults from all points. Multi-ride, family, senior, and group rates are available. Transfers between the Boston and Hingham Routes at Georges (serving Lovells, Peddocks, Grape, and Bumpkin Islands) have an additional fee of $3 for unlimited one-day rides.
