Description
Help the Boston Harbor Islands by volunteering with your group.
The park offers a variety of service projects for small groups (10-20) on Wednesdays during July, August and September. Help us maintain trails, beaches, cultural resources and park facilities. Location of projects varies, check back for details and online registration for details for specific days. These programs book up fast, plan early!

Program Fee
Water transportion fees may apply. Transportation costs are $8 per person if the ferry can be used, but significantly higher ($500 and up) if a charter boat is necessary to get to the to project island. Charters are very often needed, any amount that groups can contribute towards their transportation helps to make the program sustainable. Contact the VIP coordinator for information about transportation subsidies.
With advance planning, volunteer events can be customized for groups over 25 participants, but organizations must be able to fund transportation costs, supplies, and services related to the event. Contact the VIP Coordinator for more details.
